It is recommended that patient should visit the dentist every 6 months for a professional cleaning and examination. Professional cleaning and examination on a regular basis can help to remove plaque and calculus that you cannot reach in your daily brushing and flossing. It also helps to prevent bad breath, as professional cleaning helps to reduce the amount of bad-breath causing bacteria in your mouth.

Digital X-Rays

X-ray is an important part of the dental check-up. It allows the dentist to see in-between the teeth and under the gum line. X-rays give more accurate diagnosis, and help our dentist to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for you.

At Red Hill Dental, we use DIGITAL x-ray instead of the traditional film X-ray system. This is a much safer system, as the dosage of the radiation is significantly reduced.
