Crowns & Bridges
What are Crowns?Crowns can be used to replace chipped, decayed, discoloured, broken, misaligned, or teeth with large fillings. Dental crown can also be used to cover a dental implant. The crown can last for many years, depending on the health of the underlying tooth.
The crown procedure is generally completed in two to three visits. In your first visit, the dentist will remove a small portion of your tooth to accommodate the dental crown. The dentist will then place a temporary crown to protect the tooth. An impression is then made, and the permanent crown will be crafted in the laboratory. When you return for your second visit, the temporary crown is removed, and your new custom-made dental crown will be securely placed, resulting a permanent, beautiful and natural looking smile.

What are Bridges?
Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They span, or bridge the space where the teeth are missing. A dental bridge is used to restore the appearance and function of the missing teeth. Similar with crowns, the process of fitting a bridge generally requires two to three visits to the dentist. A temporary bridge will be cemented to protect the teeth in the first visit, and a permanent bridge (crafted by dental laboratory) will be securely placed in your second visit. Your bridge will be custom-made with a natural look, and will restore the natural contour of teeth while creating a correct bite.
