Sleep Disorder Dentistry - "For Non-Surgical Treatment"

  • Do you snore loudly?
  • Do you choke, gasp, or hold breath during sleep?
  • Do you wake up tired in the morning?
  • Do you experience insomnia? Do you suffer headaches upon awakening?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions you could suffer from Sleep Disorder Breathing (SDB). SDB refers to a condition where apnoeas (cessation of breathing for 10 seconds or more) and hypopnoea (drop in oxygen saturation in the blood) are present during sleep.

Sleep Apnoea Oral Appliance is the dental treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) with oral appliance therapy. During sleep, the muscles in the throat surrounding the airway, along with the tongue, relax and sometimes totally block the airway. The appliance holds the lower jaw forward, preventing the tongue and the soft tissue of the throat from collapsing into the airway. This device is safe, well tolerated, and effective for treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.

"Sleep Apnoea Oral Appliance opens up airways and restores quiet breathing"

The goal of the Sleep Apnoea Oral Appliance is to prevent snoring and sleep apnoea thereby improving health and quality of life. The Sleep Apnoea Oral Appliance, similar to an athletic mouth guard, is worn while sleeping. The appliance is small and convenient, making them easy to carry with you when you travel. Developed with advanced dental technology, this treatment is non-invasive, does not involve surgery, and does not require any medications.
